Pre-Owned Jeep Wrangler Unlimited at West Valley Chrysler Jeep for Los Angeles, CA

With a long reach for the design of the Wrangler (back to World War II), a Jeep Wrangler Unlimited has tested features and yet has kept up with the times in an impressive amount of areas. The 4-door Wrangler Unlimited body style is a great choice, and don't forget, you can take those doors off if you want (and push down the windshield too!). The Wrangler is a 2-door variant, but the Unlimited is what we are discussing today. The Rubicon version of the Unlimited is ready to get on the trails and rock steady as your go-to choice. This vehicle always has had a steady stream of add-ons and feature sets, be sure to see what's out there in your search for a pre-owned Wrangler Unlimited!

Under the Wrangler Unlimited's Hood

The Jeep Wrangler Unlimited is powered usually by a 3.6-liter V6 that makes nearly 285 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque. The Rubicon features uniquely short gearing and an upgraded transfer case with an extra-low crawl ratio. 4-wheel drive is standard and includes high- and low-range gearing. A 6-speed manual transmission with hill start assist is standard (one of the few 6-speeds in the market), while a 5-speed automatic with both hill-start assist and hill-descent control is procurable. The Wrangler Unlimited is super handy when you need to bring the jet-ski (for instance) with a maximum capacity of 3,500-lbs! It certainly has enough horsepower, design, and adaptations to make it through the backroads and rivers! Let's not forget that it also has one of the longest running off-roading focused histories, and Jeep has intentionally made the Unlimited with incredible specifications to accomplish the impossible, like a front & rear 5-link suspension system, standard electronic stability control (ESC), a best-in-class approach angle of 42.2 degrees, a breakover angle of 25.8 degrees, and a departure angle of 32.3 degrees!

Design of Jeep Wrangler Unlimited

The Jeep Wrangler is a manually convertible SUV offered in two-door Wrangler and four-door Wrangler Unlimited versions. The Jeep Wrangler's long-recognized features would be exposed hinges on the doors, rounded headlamps, trapezoid wheel flares, a 7-slot grille, removable doors, and a fold-down windshield! Each Unlimited is possible to obtain in Sport, Sport S, Sahara or Rubicon for model grades, with significant sub-trims like the Freedom Edition, Altitude, Rubicon Hard Rock, X, and Willys Wheeler. You will find a huge array of variable items across all models, such as front and rear tow hooks, 16-, 17- to 18-inch steel wheels (alloy available), heavy-duty suspension with gas shocks, automatic headlamps, under-hood insulation, a sound system with an auxiliary audio jack, a CD player, steering wheel controls, a heavy-duty Dana 44 front axle, an electronically disconnecting front sway bar, rock rails, coat hooks, and heated front seats! There is a ton of items in the Unlimited arsenal, make sure you shop around even within the same model level!
